Als es passierte
stand die Sonne schon hoch am Himmel.
Der Nachmittag brachte eine Antwort und die Erlösung.
Wieder zu Hause aus der dunklen, fremden Zukunft,
wieder zu Hause, denn er war nicht fortgegangen.
An einem lieblos leeren, endlos langen Vormittag
blieb nur noch Warten auf den Anruf,
der das Glück versprach.
Als es passierte,
stand die Sonne schon hoch am Himmel.
Der Nachmittag brachte eine Antwort und die Erlösung.
Wieder zu Hause aus der dunklen, fremden Zukunft,
wieder zu Hause, denn er war nicht fortgegangen.
So früh am Morgen brach das Licht des Tages über mich,
um zu erinnern an die Schrecken einer schlechten Welt.
Der Tag verlief - ich sah ihm zu und sah, dass nichts geschah.
Blieb nur noch Warten auf den Anruf,
der das Glück versprach.
Als es passierte,
stand die Sonne schon hoch am Himmel.
Der Nachmittag brachte eine Antwort und die Erlösung.
Wieder zu Hause aus der dunklen, fremden Zukunft,
